Tastefully decorated spaces, short walk from taxi drop-off, rooftop terrace access
Hot water issues in some rooms!!! Getting lost in the winding alleyways was frustrating!!! It would be better if directions or a clearer map were provided!!!

Dar Zaman was perfect! Peter runs an excellent riad that does not disappoint. Achrav and Hassan cater to your every need and make visiting Morocco much easier and pleasant. I highly recommend a stay at Dar Zaman to make your visit to Marrakech a trip of a lifetime.

The atmosphere transported me from the hustle of Marrakech's streets to a calm garden oasis. The courtyard's plunge pool was refreshing and surrounded by lush greenery. The room I stayed in, the Carbonne Double Room with Private Bathroom, was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Each morning began with a good breakfast with freshly baked croissants and a variety of Moroccan treats. Dinner on the rooftop was a highlight too, especially the Chicken Tagine with Olives and the Lamb with Prunes, amazing! I did encounter a hiccup with the hot water, which wasn't always consistent. It didn't overly spoil my experience, but it would be nice if it improved. The riad was a bit tricky to find initially, but Hassan's directions were helpful. The staff were very good too assist with my stay, offering local tips, made sightseeing easier. I highly recommend taking part in a cooking class. It was a fantastic way to immerse myself in Moroccan cuisine. A charming place with really good hospitality, I would love to return.

Peter and Hassan were very helpful making sure we could navigate the medina. We stayed in the terrace room that gave us more privacy. The rooms were clean but small. We returned after a night away and we felt were came back home. I recommend that you have someone meet you at the airport because the riads can be difficult to find on your own.

The Riad looks amazing and my room was really comfortable. Its quiet and really relaxing with a excellant roof terrace. Peter the owner and Hussan who works there were very welcoming and helped us with loads of info about Marakesh including an excellant map and great tips. Nothing seemed to much. Excellant service. The Location is great just near enough for pretty much everything and close to the square. You can walk everywhere and after walking around most of Marrakesh I thought this spot tucked away North in the medina is one of the best.

The food was AMAZING. Breakfasts were tasty, and the dinner meals reminded me of a luxurious culinary experience. The warm hospitality from the staff.
The room was small,, yet nicely decorated. Privacy was a bit unconventional in the bathroom setup.

This Riad is very beautiful, cozy and detail oriented. You always feel safe and "pampered". The owner and staff so-so nice and helpful. We really loved to meet them to receive their suggestions and to be welcomed with their smiles. They made everything possible also when we had special and last second requests! We'll surely suggest to all our friends to go there.

We had such a lovely time, especially enjoying the cooking class and getting tips on navigating the city. The plunge pool and sun terrace were perfect for unwinding after our adventures. Just a heads up, we had a bit of trouble with hot water, but it didn't ruin our overall experience at all 🌞

This was an tasteful, elegant hotel that was clean, beautiful and romantic. A nice modern take on Moroccan decor. It was very peaceful to return to after the hectic, noisy medina. The food was excellent - some of the best we had in Morocco. The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive.
Although attractively updated, the hotel rooms didn't afford much privacy, because in order to have access to fresh air, one had to leave the window and door to the room open to the courtyard and passersby. The door had a curtain, but the window did not. This could be easily corrected.
